Defining and Setting Sensor Modes
SensorML allows one to define modes that can be set in real-time or during deployment of a sensor instance. A given mode allows one to set a collection of parameters by simply setting the mode. A choice of modes is defined in the base sensor and set in the sensor instance. Modes can also be defined and set for computational processes.
The example below shows the owners description with modes set, followed by the description of the sensor model with defined modes.
